Hovenweep Canyon Ranch, Tracts 23
thru 34, is located on Cajon Mesa. It is adjacent to Hovenweep Canyon and
Painted Hand Pueblo. The ranch is nearly surrounded by Canyons of the Ancients
National Monument (CANM). 4 miles of
its 4.5 mile border is adjacent to CANM
public lands. County Rd 10, which was paved in 2006, cuts through the northwest
corner of the property and provides access to these tracts. There is abundant
wildlife in the Cajon Mesa area and it is well known for trophy bull elk and big
mule deer. These tracts would make a great hunting retreat. These tracts have
abundant Anasazi ruins on them and would excite any archaeologist or archaeology
enthusiast. Hovenweep Canyon Ranch is approximately 5 miles from the Utah
border. It is the last piece of private property you travel through before
getting to Utah while heading southwest on County Rd 10. All twelve Tracts in
Hovenweep Canyon Ranch are 40 acres +/- each with the entire ranch totaling 480
acres +/-. Views, hunting, Anasazi Ruins and easy access, Hovenweep Canyon Ranch
(Tracts 23 thru 34) has it all! |
